Greenstand Wallet API production environment Setup in Postman

You will need the following files to set up your Postman access to your wallet 

  • Postman collection: download here ->
  • BASE_URL (prodcution database) = https://prod-k8s.treetracker.org/wallet
  • API_KEY: You will receive your wallet name in the Setup Email
  • wallet: You will receive your wallet name in the Setup Email
  • password: You will receive your wallet name in the Setup Email
  • BEARER_TOKEN: You will get this token by sending your first authenticate request see below.

 

Steps: 

  1. Download Postman on https://postman.com 
  2. Install and run Postman
  3. Download this Postman environment setup file here ->

4. set up a new environment by clicking "import" and upload the .json file you just downloaded.

Click "File" and upload the .json file downloaded from above

On the left side go to "Environments" and click on the + sign

Adding a new Environment. Name your Wallet by entering your wallet name or your preferred name in the "Environment Name" and click Add

Add the 2 variables: BASE_URL = (see above) and the API_KEY = you received your API_KEY by email or "privatenote"

To get the BEARER_TOKEN which needs to be pasted into the environment you need to authenticate first. Go to the left side collection and choose the token API. Choose "Authenticate Account" then open the "Body" section and add your "wallet" name and "password" in the variables and press "Send"

The BEARER_TOKEN will come up named "token". Copy the token content only without the json syntax around it.

Edit your environment again by clicking on the "eye" icon (top right) and edit it. Add a third line enter Variable BEARER_TOKEN with the content of what you just copied. Click "Save".
